Lee Cumpian is the Region Manager for One X in South Texas, a role he has held since 2020 following the Stuart/Covenant merger. In this position, he prioritizes safety, cultivates a strong team culture, and drives operational efficiency across all projects. With a hands-on leadership style rooted in honesty and respect, he believes that effective communication and teamwork are key to success. Mr. Cumpian began his oilfield career in 2004 on a workover rig in South Texas. Over the years, he gained extensive experience in downhole operations, production processes, and safety management. By 2006, he was overseeing rig operations under the guidance of his father. His career path later took him into safety roles and, during the Eagle Ford boom, into flowback and frac valve operations, where he further developed his expertise in managing complex projects and optimizing operations. Outside of work, Mr. Cumpian is passionate about youth sports and community involvement. In 2019, he co-founded a youth football and cheer league that has grown significantly and achieved multiple state championships. He also enjoys fishing, raising cattle, and supporting his children’s sports endeavors.
